The Australian actor and bodybuilder was believed to have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the May 6 plunge, reported Generation Iron.

The fall severely injured his spine, was forced to undergo major surgery and remains in a coma in hospital, according to fellow bodybuilder and YouTuber Nick Trigilli, who claims von Moger attempted to end his life.

“Calum is in a tough spot,” Trigilli said on his Bodybuilding and BS Youtube channel. “I hope that’s the bottom for him and he can get his life back.”

Von Moger was reportedly kicked out of his family’s home in Australia.

In a recent Instagram post, von Moger opened up about his struggles, past and present.

“Everyone has a past. We have all been through tough times,” he wrote to his 3.2 million followers.

“I confess that I screwed up several times,” he continued. “But I don’t care if I dwell on negative thoughts from the past. All I care about is learning from my mistakes and becoming a better person. I do my best to stay strong, but I also have my days.

Von Moger added: “The media will always focus on negative news to get our attention and start gossip. But the positive accomplishments I’ve made in my life far outweigh the hiccups I’ve had along the way. That I can swear on 100.

He then talked about looking to the future.

“All I can ask for is your forgiveness so that I can continue on the right path.”
