She counters her husband David’s revelation that she rarely deviates from a dinner of grilled fish and steamed vegetables, joking:

‘Talk about making me look boring!. No. What he meant was that he had never met anyone more disciplined in the way they ate.

“I eat a lot of healthy fats: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I drink alcohol unless I have a reason not to. I’m going to detox from everything for three to six months where I will not drink.

Three Michelin star chef Dani Garcia, 46, has claimed the Spice Girl ‘changed the whole menu’ when former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos married his model and TV presenter wife Pilar Rubio in Spain in 2019.

Dani recalled how Victoria had coconut water near her ‘all the time’ as well as bowls of mint, as he called the habits ‘strange’ in a new interview.

Reflecting on what it was like to cook for the fashion designer at the June 2019 wedding banquet near Seville, Dani told Spanish TV on Monday night: “It was very strange. Victoria Beckham changed the whole menu .

“It was very sad because when you make such an effort, not just me and my team, but the bride and groom and everyone else to create a unique menu.

“Hers was totally different and based only on vegetables. And then there were weird things that I’ve never seen in my life.

“She had coconut water, all the time, a bowl of mints and then on the other side hydroalcoholic gel which is very famous now but back then not because the Covid pandemic hadn’t started .

“It was complicated giving Victoria her menu that night.”

Disputing Dani’s version of events, a source close to Victoria said: “It makes a great story but is neither fair nor accurate – the most Victoria would have done when asked about dietary requirements was to ask fish and natural vegetables.

Victoria’s husband David previously told how she had eaten a meal of steamed fish and vegetables for the past 25 years and would ‘rarely deviate’ from that menu.

Discussing Victoria’s very specific eating habits on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, David explained: “I’m very emotional about food and wine, when I eat something good I want everyone to like it. try.

“Unfortunately I’m married to someone who’s been eating the same thing for 25 years. Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that.

“Probably the only time she shared something that was on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and that was the most amazing thing.

“It was one of my favorite nights. I don’t remember what it was, but I know she hasn’t had it since.

Victoria’s ‘strange’ eating habits have come under intense scrutiny for years.

During Euro 2004, she would have followed a diet of strawberries sprinkled with mineral water.

The mother-of-four previously revealed that she does not eat foods cooked in oil, butter or sauces and does not eat red meat or dairy products.

Last year, she said her comfort food was whole-grain toast with salt on it and admitted, “For most restaurants, I’m probably their worst nightmare.”
