“Zion Williamson should quit PlayStation and go to the gym”: NBA Twitter continues to troll Pels star amid weight issues as he stars in video playing NBA 2K22


Barred from injury, Zion Williamson recently starred in a Bleacher Report video where he performed with his “My Player” on NBA 2K22.

Be a Zion Williamson fan is having a hard time now. After visibly gaining weight this offseason, the youngster has been subjected to many trolls and the butt of most jokes on social networks. Having last played basketball in May 2021, Williamson was scheduled to start for the Pels at the start of this 2021-22 campaign. However, more noticeable injuries kept him from making his long-awaited comeback.

Over the course of the season, reports continued to scare fans, revealing Zion’s true weight. Initially, it was reported that “Zanos” weighed somewhere north of the 300-pound mark. The most recent reports suggest the All-Star striker is now weighing around the 330 pound mark. It is also popular for skip rehabilitation sessions and fall asleep during cinema sessions.

Having already been out for 31 games this season and expected to be out for another 4-6 weeks, fans have hardly seen any action from Zion. Injured, Williamson had time to star in a Bleacher Reports video where he played “My Career” on the popular basketball video game – NBA 2K22.

In the 3.5-minute video, Williamson created his “My Player”. And roamed the “City” in the virtual world – shopped for clothes, went to the training center, to the training hall, and even played against people at “The Playground”.

It was a video of a 21-year-old having fun playing one of his favorite video games. Still, NBA Twitter has managed to find a way to troll the former Duke Blue Devil. They ridiculed him for playing the game rather than training.

It is truly disheartening to see the type of nasty comments that opponents troll these injury-riddled players with. However, for Zion, it’s time for the youngster to get serious and start losing weight before it’s too late and out of control.
